Settlement Amount Disclosed for New York Henry Phipps Plaza Mold Injury Cases

NEW YORK - Two weeks after the Nov. 29 settlement between the owners and management companies of a New York City apartment complex and 490 plaintiffs with mold-related personal injury claims, the judge allowed the previously confidential settlement amount to be disclosed. Samaris S. Davis, et al. v. Henry Phipps Plaza South, et al., No. 116331/98 (N.Y. Sup. Ct., New York Cty.).
After almost eight weeks at trial, the settlement of $1.17 million was reached shortly before the plaintiffs rested.
