University Sues Management Firm for $1.5 Million Over Housing Woes

WILMINGTON, Del. - Delaware State University has filed a $1.5 million lawsuit against the Georgia firm it hired to manage two student housing sites, alleging that recent inspections revealed mold contamination and numerous other health and safety issues. Delaware State University Student Housing Foundation v. Ambling Management Co., No. 07C-09-013 WLW (D. Del.).
The case was filed in Delaware Superior Court for Kent County on Sept. 13, but was removed to the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware on Oct. 5 by defendant Ambling Management Co.
