Mold Specialist Dr. Vincent Marinkovich Dies of Cancer at 74

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. - Immunologist and mold specialist Vincent Marinkovich, M.D., died at home of gall bladder cancer on Sept. 17, according to family members.
Dr. Marinkovich was 74.
His family said in a statement that Marinkovich, a frequent plaintiffs' expert in mold cases, "was a brilliant, creative, determined and compassionate doctor," whose campaign against the effects of mold extended to his own household and family.
Dr. Marinkovich was the founder of Immune Tech in Menlo Park, Calif., which offers mail-order mold testing kits, and was also the developer of the MAST blood test to detect allergens.
