Hawaii Supreme Court Affirms Judgment for Former Hotel Owners

HONOLULU - Buyers who complained that they were fraudulently induced into purchasing a mold-contaminated hotel in Waikiki failed to show that former managing agents misrepresented conditions or have any liability for repairs or lost business, Hawaii's high court ruled on Aug. 31. Laeroc Waikiki Parkside, LLC v. K.S.K., et al., No. 27583 (Hawaii Sup. Ct.).
The Hawaii Supreme Court affirmed summary judgment that was awarded to Laeroc Waikiki Parkside LLC and other parties in a series of orders by Hawaii's 1st Circuit Court.
