Arbitrator's Decision Near in Ferry Owner's Dispute With City

PORTLAND, Maine - A ferry operator's multi-million-dollar claim against the City of Portland, Maine, arising from alleged mold contamination of a ferry terminal, is likely to be resolved in arbitration within the next two weeks, sources have told HarrisMartin Publishing.
The source said a decision is expected on Sept. 21.
Scotia Prince Cruises operated a ferry from Portland to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, until 2005, when it says it was unable to continue to operate because of harmful mold conditions in the city-owned terminal building.
