GENEVA, Ill. - An Illinois judge has denied a motion to dismiss a mold-related class action lawsuit filed on behalf of St. Charles East High School students, former students, and the school's employees. Steinberg, et al. v. Community Unit School District 303, No. 01-CH-K-334 & 01-LK-150 (Ill. Cir. Ct., Kane Cty.).
The motion to dismiss the class action was denied Nov. 7 by Kane County Circuit Court Judge Michael Colwell.
The underlying lawsuit stems from several complaints of respiratory problems, headaches, sinus infections and fatigue made by students and staff that the plaintiffs allege are consistent with the symptoms of …
