BALTIMORE - A Maryland Circuit court jury deliberated for six hours before awarding $102,900 to a couple who claimed that the former owners of their $375,000 home hid longstanding water and mold problems. Rolls v. Erazo, et al., No. 263454-V (Md. Cir. Ct., Montgomery Cty.).
The six-member Montgomery County Circuit Court jury did find for defendants on a claim for fraud in the inducement despite finding for plaintiffs John and Lynne Rolls on their claim of negligent misrepresentation.
The jury verdict on May 24 ended a trial that began on May 14 before Judge Louise Scrivener.
