Court Affirms $6.4 Million Settlement Despite Insurer's Objections

SEATTLE - The Washington Court of Appeals has affirmed a lower court's approval of a $6.4 million settlement between condominium owners and developers despite continuing objections by the developer's insurer to the agreed-upon damages and $1.6 million in attorneys' fees. Meadow Valley Owners Association v. Meadow Valley LLC, et al., Nos. 57070-6-1 and 57070-2-1 (Wash. Ct. App., Div. 1).
