AMARILLO, Texas - A homeowner's failure to link mold damage throughout his house to a plumbing installation mistake six years earlier was sufficient reason for a trial court to issue a directed verdict in favor of the plumbing contractor, a Texas appellate court held on March 8. Carr v. Guy's Plumbing, No. 07-05-0443-CV (Texas Ct. App., 7th Dist.).

The Texas Seventh District Court of Appeals said it agreed with the trial court that 'there was a complete absence of evidence on the elements of causation and damages.'
