WASHINGTON, D.C. - The District of Columbia's appellate court has reversed an employment review board's denial of benefits to a worker who complained of injury from mold exposure, saying the board failed to consider work-related causes for her symptoms. Young v. District of Columbia Department of Employment Services, et al., No. 05-AA-992 (D.C. Ct. App.).
The court remanded for new findings related to illnesses claimed by Margaret Young, and said the board 'may also address the issues it did not reach previously, such as whether petitioner voluntarily limited her income by pursuing work whose schedule would accommodate her home-schooling duties …
