GENEVA, Ill. - An Illinois judge issued a one-page, handwritten order on Feb. 16 denying a motion by a local school district to dismiss a consolidated complaint filed by 30 former students who allege that the district's failure to prevent or remediate mold contamination in their high school led to unspecified injuries, medical expenses and emotional distress. Steinberg, et al. v. Community Unit School District 303, Nos. 01 CH K 334 and 01 LK 150 (Ill. 16th Cir. Ct., Kane Cty.).
