WICHITA, Kan. - The Court of Appeals of Kansas on Jan. 19 affirmed an order giving $17,500 to a siding contractor who filed a mechanic's lien after homeowners blamed him for their home's mold problems and refused to pay.Campbell v. Jordan, No. 95,670 (Kan. Ct. App.).
The appellate judges found substantial competent evidence to support the order favoring siding contractor Nick A. Campbell in his dispute with homeowners Roy A. and Shannon D. Jordan.
