JACKSON, Miss. - Senior U.S. District Judge L.T.Senter Jr. on Dec. 26 remanded to Mississippi state court a lawsuit filed by the Mississippi Attorney General Jim Hood against State Farm and other insurance companies alleging deception in the carriers' adjustment of Hurricane Katrina claims (Hood v. Mississippi Farm Bureau Insurance Co., et al., No. 3:05-cv-00572 (S.D. Miss.) [No. No. G2005-1642, Miss. Chancery Ct., Hinds Cty., 1st Dist.]).
Judge Senter's order was on reconsideration of a remand order issued by U.S. District Judge Tom S. Lee on March 8, 2006. Judge Lee later recused himself and the case was eventually transferred …
