Ohio Waterproofing Firm Succeeds in Enforcing Arbitration Clause

AKRON, Ohio - An Ohio appellate court on Aug. 30 reversed a trial court and upheld an arbitration clause in a contract between homeowners and a waterproofing company. Ball v. Ohio State Home Services, Inc., No. 23063 (Ohio Ct. App., 9th Cir.).

The court rejected arguments by Douglas and Billie Ball that the arbitration clause in a contract for waterproofing services was not unconscionable and could be enforced.
