WILMINGTON, Del. - A Delaware trial court on July 7 denied defense motions to exclude testimony by four plaintiff's witnesses in a mold personal injury case, including medical experts Dr. Eckhardt Johanning and Dr. Vincent Marinkovich. Brandt v. Rokeby Realty Co., No. 97C-10-132-RFS (Del. Super., Sussex Cty.).

In a 50-page ruling, Delaware Superior Court Judge Richard F. Stokes said the proffered testimony of the two medical experts and two experts who testified on mold levels was admissible under Daubert v. Merrell Dow Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (509 U.S. 579 [1993]).
