NEW ORLEANS - Louisiana plaintiffs suing Lloyd's of London over the carrier's allegedly deficient response to claims from Hurricane Katrina asked a state court on Jan. 10 to certify the claimants as a class. Charbonnet v. Certain Underwriters at Lloyds London, et al., No. 06-6570 (La. Dist. Ct., Orleans Parish).
