Calif. Supreme Court Declines Review of Excluded Sampling Data

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - California's Supreme Court has declined to review lower court decisions excluding testimony by plaintiffs' experts that relied in part on mold sampling data and a controversial mycotoxin antibody test. Geffcken v. D'Andrea, No. S141843 (Calif. Sup. Ct.).

The June 14 order denied review to Eva and Alexander Geffcken, who alleged injuries from mold exposure at their apartment in Santa Barbara, Calif., and at a separate residence where Eva Geffcken was employed as a caregiver.
