BALTIMORE - A Baltimore City jury ended a two-week trial on Sept. 27 by awarding $382,744 in total damages to three adults who claimed that exposure to mold in leaky public housing caused respiratory and other problems. Pratt, et al. v. Housing Authority of Baltimore City, No. 24C05000785 (Md. Cir., Baltimore City).

Jurors deliberated for a day and a half before awarding individual plaintiffs non-economic damages of $375,000 and damages for past medical expenses and property loss of $7,744. The defendant Housing Authority of Baltimore City was expected to file for judgment notwithstanding the verdict and other post-trial motions.
