Texas Court Affirms Verdict for Mold Remediator Sued by Homeowner




HOUSTON - A Texas appellate court on June 15 affirmed a verdict in favor of a mold remediator sued by an unhappy client, saying it did not find that that the trial court's findings were against the weight of the evidence. Hancock v. Genzer, et al., No. 01-04-00711-CV (Texas Ct. App., 1st Dist.).

James K. Hancock alleged that Calvin and Sandi Genzer, doing business as Trinity Home Improvement, misrepresented their experience and left his home filled with debris and unlivable.

Hancock retained Trinity after experiencing roof damage and water intrusion during Tropical Storm Allison in 2001.
