MINEOLA, N.Y. - A sales agreement obligating Northrup Grumman Corp. to abate asbestos in a building it was selling for $23.5 million is ambiguous on the issue of who is to pay to remediate mold that occurred because of the abatement process, a New York court ruled on Jan. 9 in denying summary judgment.
