SUFFERN, N.Y. - A New York couple is seeking $30 million in damages from a real estate broker, their closing attorney and inspectors they say negligently or intentionally led them to purchase a house with severe pre-existing moisture and mold problems. Clement v. Delaney Realty Corp., et al., No. SU-2006-001201 (N.Y. Sup., Rockland Cty.).

Ira and Sarah Clement say they purchased the 39-year-old house in Airmont, N.Y., on Nov. 24, 2003, from William J. Shovlin and Susan G. Shovlin. They used the services of real estate broker Patricia A. Delaney and Delaney Realty Corp. of Suffern, N.Y., inspector Arcenio Pena …
