RALEIGH, N.C. - North Carolina's Court of Appeals dismissed appeals by a school board seeking indemnification from a building architect on Jan. 3, saying the issue was moot after the underlying cases were dismissed during the appeal. Spearman v. Pender County Board of Education, No. COA04-1638; Zizzo v. Pender County Board of Education, No. COA04-1652 (N.C. Ct. App.).
