Court Orders Amerisure to Defend Mo. Builder in 3 Construction Defect Cases

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - A federal judge has ordered Amerisure Mutual Insurance Co. to defend a building contractor in three lawsuits alleging construction defects in three Missouri hotels. Amerisure Mutual Insurance Co. v. Paric Corp., et al., No. 4:04CV430-DJS (E.D. Mo.).
The insured builder, Paric Corp., is a defendant in three lawsuits filed in Missouri state courts over allegedly defective windows and exterior insulation and finish system ('EIFS') in hotels owned and managed by ESA Management Inc. and ESA Missouri Inc. ESA has also sued Dryvit Systems, which manufactured the siding, and Quaker Windows & Doors, which supplied windows.
