ORLANDO, Fla. - Claims by a former country club employee that she was fired for filing a workers' compensation petition alleging workplace injury from mold should be decided by a jury, a federal court decided on July 1. Hogan v. The Country Club of Brevard Inc., No. 6:04-cv-272-Orl-31JGG (M.D. Fla.).

Judge Gregory A. Presnell of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida denied summary judgment to Michel Hogan or her former employer, Rockledge Country Club, on July 1 on a claim that Rockledge violated Florida law by firing her for filing a workers' comp claim.
