MBA issues White Paper, 'Mold, Steps Toward Clarity,' to help its members
WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Mortgage Bankers Association is among the latest industry groups to offer its members a guide to understanding mold issues that come before members in headlines, in most cases, or, in worst cases, lawsuits.
A 42-page white paper, "Mold: Steps Toward Clarity" was released in June by a working group of the MBA's Commercial Real Estate/Multifamily Finance Board of Governors' Loan Origination Committee.
The committee's goal was to give members up-to-date information on mold issues: risks, remediation, training, and litigation.
