N.Y. Court Orders Joint Trial of Bianca Jagger's Mold Exposure, Eviction Law




NEW YORK - A New York trial judge on May 27 ordered a joint trial on Bianca Jagger's mold allegations against her New York landlord and the landlord's separate eviction proceeding against Jagger. Katz Park Avenue Corp. v. Jagger, No. 109310/04 (N.Y. Sup., N.Y. Cty.).

Acting on a motion by Katz Park Avenue Corp., which owns Jagger's Manhattan apartment, New York County Superior Court Justice Leland DeGrasse declined to consolidate the two cases, saying it would confuse the jury, but concluded that a joint trial 'would be more appropriate.' No date has been set for trial.
