NEW YORK - A New York appellate court has affirmed a trial court order requiring a homeowner to repay the $108,000 her insurer advanced for living expenses after she found mold contamination in her Connecticut home. Hritz v. Saco, et al., 2005 NY Slip Op 04312 (N.Y. Sup., App. Div., 1st Dept.).
The New York Supreme Court Appellate Division, 1st Department, on May 26 affirmed an order of the New York County Supreme Court ordering Mary Elizabeth Hritz to repay Great Northern Insurance Co. and dismissing Hritz's claims for coverage.
