Attorney in Henry Phipps Plaza Cases Disciplined, Agrees to Relinquish License

NEW YORK - A New York attorney who has represented LaGuardia College students and residents of public housing in some well-publicized mold-exposure cases has relinquished his license to practice law rather than fight charges of professional misconduct (Matter of Goldman, M5735 [2005 NY Slip Op 02763], N.Y. Sup., App. Div., 1st Dept.).
An April 12 order from the Supreme Court Appellate Division, First Department stated that Steven F. Goldman was the subject of disciplinary action brought by the Departmental Disciplinary Committee arising from his representation of clients in several unnamed cases.
