LAKE CHARLES, La. - A Louisiana appellate court affirmed denial of insurance coverage for mold in a home attic that was blamed on a lack of ventilation after a new roof was installed. Morgan v. Auto Club Family Insurance Co., No. 04-1562 (La. App. 3rd Cir.).
Policyholder Brenda Dianne Morgan found mold in her attic in December 2000, six months after she had a new metal roof installed.
