NEWARK, N.J. - Transcontinental Insurance Co. has asked a federal court in New Jersey to declare that it owes no duty to defend or indemnify siding contractors being sued by residents of a north Jersey condominium complex. Transcontinental Insurance Co. v. Central Jersey Stucco Corp., et al., No. 04-6427(SRC) (D. N.J.).

Transcontinental filed the declaratory judgment action on Dec. 29 against Central Jersey Stucco Corp. and Nagy Fabrications, defendants in a faulty workmanship action filed by residents of the Beau Ridge condominiums in Holmdel, N.J.
