NEW YORK - A New York appellate court has affirmed dismissal of mold-related claims against a landlord, citing lack of notice required by New York law. Beck v. J.J.A. Holding Corp., et al., 2004 NYSlipOp 08162 (N.Y. Sup., App. Div., 1st Dept.).

Catherine Beck sued her landlord, J.J.A. Holding Corp., in Bronx County Supreme Court, blaming her bronchial infection and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder on exposure to mold in her apartment.
