HOUSTON, Texas - A Texas appellate court on Dec. 16 affirmed summary judgment for a home insurer, adjuster and inspector who were sued over their response to a mold claim. Franco v. Slavonic Mutual Fire Insurance Association, No. 14-03-01433-CV (Texas 14th Ct. App.).
Patsy Franco and her husband, Jesse Villaneuva, sued on their own behalf and on behalf of their four children, alleging that Slavonic Mutual Fire Insurance, alleging that Slavonic misrepresented their homeowners' coverage and mishandled their claim.
