NEW ORLEANS - A federal judge has remanded a personal injury action brought by tenants of a New Orleans apartment complex, finding little indication the individual claims will reach the court's $75,000 jurisdictional threshold. Meade v. Orleans East Apartments, No. 04-2078 (E.D. La.)(No. 04-7169, La. Dist., Orleans Parish).

Robin Meade, Tyrone Meade, Lona P. Lodge and Brenda R. Strong contend they were exposed to mold at the Orleans East Apartments, and that as a result they developed unspecified pulmonary diseases.
