About the Author photo-1Dr. Straus is Professor of Microbiology and Immunology at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Lubbock, Texas. He has served as an expert witness in mold litigation. He received his Ph.D. in Microbiology from Loyola University of Chicago in 1974 and has done post-doctoral work at the University of Cincinnati and the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio.
