LITTLE ROCK, Ark.-A mill worker who appealed an Arkansas Workers' Compensation Commission denial of benefits did not provide substantive medical evidence to back up his claims that Aspergillus fungus rendered him unable to perform his job, the Arkansas Court of Appeals affirmed April 21. Sikes v. Georgia-Pacific Corporation No. CA03-1114 (Ark. App.)

Appellant John Sikes argued unsuccessfully that the commission erred by applying a 'preponderance of the evidence' standard rather than a 'clear and convincing evidence' standard in denying his claim.
