SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - - A case in which a mother and son demanded $10 million from their landlord and various property managers will likely be dismissed by a trial judge who has barred testimony by the plaintiffs' medical and environmental experts. Geffcken v. D'Andrea, No. 01044044 (Calif. Super. Santa Barbara).
Judge Denise deBellefeuille said in concluding a lengthy evidentiary hearing on April 1 that trial will not begin on April 26 as scheduled, as 'there is nothing left for a jury to do here for us.'
