CHICAGO - Basketball star Michael Jordan and his wife are suing the builders of their Highland Park, Ill., home for $2.6 million, claiming that problems with synthetic stucco siding has led to mold infestation in the home. Michael Jordan, et ux. v. STO Corp., et al., No. 2004-L-003097 (Ill Cir., Cook Cty., Law Div.).
The complaint by Michael and Juanita Jordan was filed in Cook County (Ill.) Circuit Court on March 17 against general contractor Berke Homes, siding manufacturer STO Corp., roofing Contractor Waukegan Roofing Co., installer Mohawk Plastering Corp., and Estates Windows Ltd.
