N.Y. Court Denies Dismissal For Untimely Service In LaGuardia College Case

NEW YORK - A New York trial court has denied a mold remediation contractor's motion to dismiss for untimely service, ruling that the prejudice to the plaintiff college students and staff would outweigh any prejudice to the defendant. Robert E. Coiro, et al. v. T&J Roofing Inc., et al., No. 402892/2003 (N.Y. Sup. Ct., N.Y. Cty.).

Robert E. Coiro and approximately 60 other staff and students at LaGuardia College are suing multiple defendants in three lawsuits for injuries allegedly caused by toxic mold in two campus buildings.
