CARSON CITY, Nev. - Nevada's high court has affirmed dismissal of a personal injury lawsuit by state workers complaining of injuries from mold exposure, ruling that their only remedy is through a workers' compensation action. Schurin v. Division of Child and Family Services, No. 41335 (Nev. Sup. Ct.).
Karla Schurin and 11 other present and former employees of Nevada's Division of Child and Family Services were the name plaintiffs in this action and sought to represent a class of present and former employees exposed to mold in Las Vegas office buildings.
