ST. PAUL, Minn. - A trial court's decision to allow a municipality to condemn and effectively seize a home that sustained what one official called the worst black mold damage he's ever seen did not violate the homeowners' Constitutional rights, a state appeals court has held. City of Crystal v. Zebracki-Wesley, et al., No. A03-23 (Minn. Ct. App.).

In an opinion released Dec. 23, the Minnesota Court of Appeals ruled that a trial court's decision to order the transfer and title of the property did not infringe upon the owner's right to due process.
