HOUSTON - A temporary injunction hearing was scheduled for Sept. 18 in a case filed by the State of Texas against a mold remediation company concerning allegations that the company engaged in deceptive trade practices and misallocated consumers' money that should have been used for remediation activities. The State of Texas v. Richard L. Steffan, et al., No. 2002-43363 (Texas Dist. Ct., 151st Jud. Dist., Harris Cty.).
