For the last few years, the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC), which describes itself as a non-profit standard setting and certification registry, has been working on the fourth of its industry standards. It has already produced standards for professional carpet cleaning, professional upholstery cleaning, and professional water damage restoration.
