PHILADELPHIA - A mold-contaminated house in Allentown, Pa., has become the center of two separate lawsuits filed by the previous and current homeowners against the insurers and the insurers' counsel, respectively, for issues including bad faith, personal injury, witness tampering and endangerment.
The two cases are intertwined because the legal team representing the insurance companies being sued by the original homeowners, Seymour and Susan Traub, planned to use the current owners, Randy and Mary Sandt, as star witnesses against the Traubs.
