ARDMORE, Okla. -In a case concerning a house that was discovered to be contaminated with mold after its sale, the new homeowner recently added the appraiser, home inspector and mortgage company as defendants. Melissa Williams, a/k/a Jamie Williams v. Terry McCann, et al., No. CJ-2003-278 (Okla. Dist. Ct., Carter Cty.).
According to an amended complaint filed Aug. 27 in Clark County District Court, the new defendants are in addition to the home sellers and the real estate agent initially named as defendants in this case of alleged non-disclosure, negligence and misrepresentation.
