LOS ANGELES - Tenants of a Section 8 subsidized housing project known as Kings Villages in Pasadena, Calif., have filed suit against the city, the project owner and the management company, alleging they have suffered personal injury as a result of exposure to toxic mold within the apartments. Annie Williams, et al. v. City of Pasadena, et al., No. GC031966 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles).

In their suit, filed May 21 in Los Angeles Superior Court, the plaintiffs contend that the defendants are liable for unhealthy conditions in the apartment complex that have caused the tenants to suffer harmful effects …
