NEW ORLEANS - Plaintiffs in a landlord/tenant case involving personal injuries allegedly caused by exposure to mold in an apartment complex filed an amended petition adding the complex manager as a defendant. Tonia C. Polite, et al. v. Curran Place, Ltd., No. 2002-18518 (La. Civil Dist. Ct. of Orleans).
Additionally, two more tenants were added as plaintiffs in the Supplemental Amended Petition, filed May 14 in Louisiana's Civil District Court of Orleans. The plaintiffs allege that the tenants and their children suffered various personal injuries as a result of exposure to mold growing in the apartments.
