NASHVILLE, Tenn. - According to a complaint filed in federal court, the death of a county jail inmate was caused by exposure to toxic mold in the county criminal justice facility. Thelma Howard, as Next Friend and surviving parent of James Marsh, Jr., Deceased, v. Giles County, Tenn., et al., No. 03-CV-51 (D. Tenn., Middle Dist., Middle Div.).
