Employees of Two Law Firms Sue Landlord for Injuries Allegedly Due to Mold in Offices

MOUNT HOLLY, N.J. - Three employees of two law firms housed in the same office building have sued the building owner for negligence and nuisance, alleging that mold in the inadequately maintained building has caused them to suffer severe physical and emotional injuries. Tiffany A. Schrope, et al. v. Thomas E. Frawley, et al., No. BUR-L-581-03 (N.J. Super. Ct., Burlington Cty., Law Div.).

The plaintiffs also requested that the defendant allow them access to the building to perform air and surface sampling before remediation and renovation efforts destroy material evidence of the mold contamination.
