Mobile Home Owner Alleges Retailer, Manufacturer Liable for Mold & Related Personal Injuries

OSWEGO, N.Y. - The owner of a mobile home has filed suit against the retailer and manufacturer, alleging that through their negligence, the home became infested with fungal contamination, in turn causing personal injuries due to exposure to the mold. Kimberly Dennison, et al. v. Fleetwood Homes of Pennsylvania, Inc., and Cornell Homes, Inc., No. C-2003-0465 (N.Y. Sup. Ct., Oswego Cty.).

According to the complaint filed March 14, the plaintiff and her two children became ill from mold that grew in the mobile home due to the defendants' alleged failure to properly design, manufacture, assemble and service the home. The …
