PHILADELPHIA - A U.S. District Court ruled recently that a teacher employed in the Council Rock School District has pled sufficient facts to support her claims of employment discrimination, stemming in part from her relegation to a series of mold-infested classroom spaces. Blum, et al. v. Council Rock School, et al., No. 02-CV-769 (D. Pa., E. Dist.).
According to the Feb. 14 opinion issued by the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, various motions to dismiss filed by the school board were denied, paving the way for the teacher to pursue her claims.
